Jarsath Wastes is comprised of two distinct halves: the Skyfire Mountains, a large volcanic plateau in the east, and the Overthere, a rugged plain in the west that gradually slopes down to the sea. Fortunatley for the denizes of the lower plains, the lava flows meandering through the Skyfire Moutains flow into the east, and there is virtually no spillover westward. The only spillover that does occur, is when the dragonkind inhabitants of the Skyfire Mountains send waves of droags to attack Ganak's Battlement. Recently, the sentient factions of the Overthere have begun sending raiding parties into the Skyfire mountains, as well as test their influence over the western plain. Di'Zok of the Sel'Nok Brigade have set up encampments throughout Jarsath Wastes to establish themselves in the region, as well as to keep tabs on their Iksar enemies, the Legion of Danak, and their even greater enemies, the dragons. Clan Skleross, a group of skorpikis who desire to carve out a new future for themselves, have been seeking adventures to help them reclaim their homeland in the Howling Stones and Traitor's Pass regi
