You've found your way to the Isle of Mara! Your first goal is to establish relations with the people of The Village of Shin and demonstrate that not all outsiders are here to exploit the resources of the island. After you've familiarized yourself with the lay of the land, your journey will take you to the aid of the monks of the Whistling Fists Clan and their quest to tame the corrupted lands of The Mystic Lake. While you're at it, perhaps you could assist them in finding out what actually happened to the people of the mysterious Forsaken City.
Tradeskill Writs are available from Kaisha Swifteasel in Outsiders' Landing at -85, 3, 99. Earning faction with the Far Seas Supply Division allows you to purchase tradeskill-related faction items from Koros Splinterlimb, the faction merchant at -93, -2, 103.
